In partnership with the Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority, the Wallkill River Watershed Management Group, and the SCAR Community Outreach Committee. During our floodplain reforestation projects, tree tubes and stakes are installed around every tree to protect them against damage by the deer and voles. Now that the trees have been growing for 10 years at the Decker Road reforestation site, they are large enough to survive on their own. We need your help to remove all of the tree tubes and stakes! Work gloves and tools will be provided.
